Position Description
Are you a proven Developer who can recommend and design the technical structures for Digital transformation efforts? These financial services projects are helping our Clients lead the way through this technological change.
Your future duties and responsibilities
In this client-facing role we’d be looking to you to:
• Work from the provided business requirement to clarify business needs.
• Conduct design activities, development and system integrated primary testing
• Develop API’s webservices in both Rest & Soap.
• Create database tables, SQL Queries and messaging.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role
• 5+ years IT Industry experience in application development as a Lead Developer
• Excellent understanding of key concepts of architecture in a distributed environment (SOA , etc.)
• Masters concepts and standards of the software industry such as object-oriented design, design patterns, modeling languages (UML, etc.) and some communication protocols (SOAP, REST , etc.)
Solid experience with :
- Java 1.8 / JEE,
- Design Patterns
- Web Services (REST & SOAP),
- SQL / Oracle,
- Websphere (WAS), Websphere Batch,
- MQ series messaging,
- Knowledge of XML , XSLT , XML Schema and JSON
- Proven ability to write high quality technical documentation.
Any experience in Payments or Data Encryption would be a significant asset.
